Agricultural land investment in under-developed countries in the world is dramatically increasing as an asset class. While considered an investment not subject to the fluctuations associated with equities and fixed income investments, it is also considered a good investment from the perspective that food commodities are being developed for a hungry world. But with this development comes significant human rights problems for indigenous people impacted by industrial agricultural production. Here you will find resources addressing this complex issue that is likely to become a major human rights issue in the coming years.
